BRRA was set up in 2004. It is a non-profit making organisation run by a commitee of volunteers. The main aim is to provide an opportunity for local riders to enjoy “grass roots” competition, including clear round jumping, eventer trials and winter season dressage competitions. One of the main areas of activity for BRRA has been to explore the potential for improving the off-road riding network in the area. We are able to enjoy the quiet and safe bridleways linking Mill Lane with the local countryside.  However,  like many rural areas, previously quiet country lanes have become commuter routes, raising danger levels for riders. Members of BRRA have been active in the Leicester Access Forum, working towards improving riding routes."
